TOWNSHIP OF CUMMING
Henderson Lake Property Owners
The Cumming Township Board has received a request for continued treatment of invasive and nuisance weeds on Henderson Lake. This would result in the property owners comprising an assessment district for weed
control on Henderson Lake.
Two Public Hearings are necessary.
This letter serves as your notification of the hearings.
Hearing #1:
For the purpose of hearing any comments, objections or concerns, and establishing approximate cost of the Annual Assessment.
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 6:00 P.M.
Location: Hill Township Hall

Comments, objections, or concerns may be submitted in writing and mailed to the Cumming Township Clerk, PO Box 498, Rose City, MI 48654, no later than 5:00 P.M. on the 8th of June 2026.
Hearing # 2:
For the purpose of establishing the final cost to be assessed against each property annually. The assessment not to exceed One Hundred Sixty-five ($165.00) for lake front, and Thirty-five ($35.00) for back lots / per property.
